ROANOKE, VA (August 2, 2016) — Prior to his recent board appointment, Huff served as an associate board member at Member One, a position designed to provide a learning environment for potential board members, allowing them to perform and contribute significantly should they be appointed to the Board in the future.
Huff’s appointment fills the vacancy on the board due to the recent retirement of board member, Eugene “Gene” Butler, who retired after 64 years of service.
Huff is originally from Franklin County, VA and graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Finance. He currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Poe & Cronk Real Estate Group.
Matt also serves on the Franklin County Family YMCA board of directors and is a graduate of Leadership Roanoke Valley. He previously served on the board of Blue Ridge Literacy.
