Meet Ed Kugland, Hiway’s new Mortgage Operations Manager
ST. PAUL, MN (December 27, 2018) — Hiway Federal Credit Union® (Hiway) is pleased to welcome Ed Kugland as their new Mortgage Operations Manager.
Ed brings more than thirteen years of mortgage lending and leadership experience to Hiway. In addition to an outstanding career background, his passion and focus on streamlining processes, improving efficiencies and creating an exceptional member experience make him a valuable new asset to the credit union’s team.
“Ed brings strong Mortgage Operations Leadership to the Hiway Team,” stated Mary Koonce, Vice President of Mortgage Lending. “In his new role, Ed will drive strategies to align business unit goals with Hiway’s vision and mission while implementing strategies to support the perpetual changes within the industry. Ed will also support the business unit as a liaison to external partners and internal divisions.”
Ed graduated from the University of WI-Whitewater, with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Finance. He also has an Associate Certificate in Project Management / Agile from Auburn University. Ed has participated in activities with Feed My Starving Children, American Heart Association, Habitat for Humanity, and various toy drives.
