Members 1st Credit Union promotes new VP Marketing

REDDING, CA (October 9, 2015) — Members 1^st Credit Union announced this month the promotion of Josh Markle to Vice President Marketing.

Markle began his employment at Members 1^st in March of 2011 as Marketing Manager. Prior to his employment, Members 1^st utilized an outside marketing agency for their marketing and advertising needs, but desired greater control and efficiencies within their marketing and advertising, thus leading them to create the Marketing Manager position. During his tenure with Members 1^st, Markle has developed annual marketing and advertising plans, assisted with new product development, realigned the credit union’s purpose, vision, and values, and has promoted employee education and professional development.

“He has done a great job directing the marketing and advertising efforts of the credit union. We are very proud to have Josh as a part of our team and excited to see his continuing development,” says Judi Bartholomew, Vice President Operations and Markle’s supervisor.

“It’s been easy to fall in love with the credit union’s purpose and the work that we do,” says Markle. “I’m passionate about saving people from the turmoil of poor banking relationships and promoting the benefits of Members 1st. Everyone should belong to a credit union.”

In addition to his role at Members 1^st, Markle serves on the board of Redding First Church of the Nazarene and the board of Catalyst Redding Young Professionals. He is a Leadership Redding alumnus (‘12) and a graduate of Western Credit Union National Association Management School in 2015.

Markle and his wife, Kallie, have two children, Theo and Winter.
