Members 1st Federal Credit Union is proud to continue its partnership with Pocono Raceway as the official credit union and presenting sponsor of Victory Lane. Pocono Raceway is one of Pennsylvania’s most iconic sports venues and a powerful driver of tourism and economic activity across the Commonwealth.
Each year, NASCAR race weekend at Pocono Raceway attracts fans from across the country and around the world. Pocono Raceway’s family of businesses generates $126 million in annual economic output for Pennsylvania businesses, hotels, restaurants and communities throughout the region.
Pocono Raceway draws visitors from 67 Pennsylvania counties, all 50 states and nearly 13 countries, making it a truly global tourism driver and distinct from traditional professional sports in Pennsylvania. Attendees stay an average of 3.75 days and contribute to the local economy through hotel stays, dining, fuel purchases, retail shopping and area attractions. Pocono Raceway events also support an estimated 958 full- and part-time jobs across the region.
“For us, this partnership is about more than racing, it is about community,” said Michael Wilson, President & CEO of Members 1st Federal Credit Union. “Race weekend brings tens of thousands of visitors to the Poconos and creates meaningful economic opportunities for local businesses and families. As a credit union built on the philosophy of people helping people, we are proud to support events that strengthen local communities. And as we look to expand our footprint in this region, partnerships like this help us connect with the people and communities we are excited to serve.”
In addition to the economic impact, Members 1st will continue supporting Pocono Raceway’s Military Affairs initiatives, including serving as presenting sponsor of the Gold Star Families Ceremony and Breakfast held during each NASCAR Cup Series race weekend. New this year, the credit union also partnered with the Raceway on its Community Heroes program, recognizing three outstanding individuals with VIP experiences during the June race weekend—celebrating everyday heroes whose compassion, service and leadership make a meaningful difference in their communities.
“At Pocono Raceway, we have always believed race weekend is about more than what happens on the track,” said Ben May, President of Pocono Raceway. “It is about the people who travel here, the local businesses and families who welcome them and the shared moments that bring our community together. Partners like Members 1st understand that spirit. They share our commitment to supporting the communities around us and honoring the men and women who serve our country. Celebrating together in Members 1st Victory Lane is always special, but just as meaningful is the time we take during the weekend to recognize our Gold Star families and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.”
The NASCAR race weekend at Pocono Raceway, June 12-14, 2026, will once again feature the NASCAR Cup Series race, The Great American Getaway 400 along with additional NASCAR series races as part of the annual triple-header weekend that draws fans from all 50 states and more than a dozen countries.
