MANCHESTER, NH (January 23, 2026) |
Members First Credit Union is now accepting applications for its annual scholarship program, which awards a total of $7,500 to six students in support of higher education. The scholarships are designed to help local students continue their academic journeys while honoring individuals whose leadership and service have made a lasting impact on Members First and the communities it serves.
The Members First Scholarship Program reflects the credit union’s long-standing commitment to investing in its community. Through four distinct scholarships—the John S. Walsh Memorial Scholarship, the Michael L. Briggs Memorial Scholarship, the Wilbur L. Jenkins Memorial Scholarship, and the Members First Credit Union Memorial Scholarship— Members First recognizes students who demonstrate dedication, responsibility, leadership, and a desire to move forward with purpose.
“Education opens doors, and we’re proud to support our members as they take the next step forward,” said Courtney Fifield, President and CEO of Members First Credit Union. “These scholarships honor the legacy of leaders who believed deeply in service, community, and opportunity—values that continue to guide Members First today.”
All scholarships are available to eligible Members First Credit Union members, with each award designed to honor a specific legacy and support students from different backgrounds and fields of study. Scholarship recipients are selected based on criteria specific to each award.
