America First Credit Union employees participates in 10th annual USU Ladies Football Clinic

RENO, NEV (August 3, 2016) — Getting into the football spirit and supporting its college teams, America First Credit Union employees participated in the 10th annual Utah State University (USU) Ladies Football Clinic on Wednesday, July 27 on Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium. The clinic, sponsored by America First, has grown incrementally since its inception 10 years ago and allows women an inside peek and lesson in football skills, techniques and the ins-and-outs of the game for the lady attendees. Participants also had the opportunity to meet the Aggie football coaching staff and select players, who signed autographs and posed for pictures. The popular clinic featured more than 180 participants.

Attendees learned about nutrition, football scheme, techniques and fundamentals taught by the USU players and coaches. The ladies were separated into various groups, running through drills for each position on the field, from throwing passes at the quarterback station, perfecting footwork with ladder drills and charging to make a tackle at the linebacker station. Participants also had the opportunity to suit up in full USU football uniform attire.
