Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) Facilities Operations Assistant Manager and Consumer Loans Operations Assistant Manager

EAST LANSING, MI (June 9, 2014) -- Patrick McPharlin, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MSU Federal Credit Union, is pleased to announce the promotions of Brian Grapentien to Facilities Operations Assistant Manager at MSUFCU’s Headquarters and Kyle Wright to Consumer Loans Operations Assistant Manager.

Brian Grapentien has worked at MSUFCU since September 2013, and was previously a Facilities Maintenance Specialist before being promoted to Facilities Operations Assistant Manager. He has a Facility Management Certificate (CT) from Ferris State University. Grapentien also serves as a chairperson for the City of Portland Planning Commission and is on the board for the Portland Community Arts Council (PCAC).

Kyle Wright has been with MSUFCU since January 2012, formerly serving as a Financial Services Representative before being promoted to Consumer Loans Operations Assistant Manager in our Management Development Program. Wright received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University. He is also a veteran of Operation New Dawn, serving seven years in the Michigan Army National Guard.

McPharlin commented, “These individuals have shown leadership and have developed the skills to prepare them for a management role. Mr. Grapentien and Mr. Wright will be excellent assets to our management team.”
