EAST LANSING, MI — MSUFCU and its employees support a number of charities and organizations in the Mid-Michigan area. From January through June of 2012, MSUFCU employees raised funds for the Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS), with a goal of contributing $24,000. MSUFCU employees were thrilled to surpass this goal, raising $30,634 through employee donations and fundraisers including raffles, dress down days, a managers’ car wash, bake sales, and a putting outing.
MSUFCU’s Charity Committee selects a different charity annually to be the recipient of its employee fundraising activities between the months of January and June. Charities supported in previous years include Sparrow Hospice Services, the Boys & Girls Club of Lansing, and Ele’s Place. MSUFCU staff raises funds to support the Capital Area United Way between the months of July and December each year.
