ST. JOSEPH, MI (March 21, 2014) -- Mike Kambol has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Risk Management at United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) in St. Joseph, Mich. In his new role, Kambol will provide leadership to the UFCU Risk Management and Compliance organization. "I welcome Mike's addition to the UFCU Strategic Leadership Team," stated UFCU President and CEO Gary Easterling, “his experience and expertise are an invaluable asset to the organization.”
Kambol was previously Director of Risk & Compliance with UFCU, where he was responsible for ensuring maintenance of adequate credit, market, and operational risk, as well as full compliance with all banking laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures. Kambol also served as Chief Financial Officer of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union, and in various accounting positions with Teachers Credit Union in South Bend, Ind.
A native of South Bend, Kambol holds Bachelor degrees in Accounting and Business Administration & Management, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University at South Bend. Additionally, Kambol holds the Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert (CUERME) designation from the Credit Union National Association. He resides in South Bend.
