Arbor Financial Credit Union is pleased to announce the hiring of Mike Lauraine as the organization’s Senior Commercial Lender in the Kalamazoo market. Lauraine comes to Arbor Financial with 19 years of experience in Retail and Commercial Banking serving West Michigan. As Senior Commercial Lender, Lauraine will manage existing commercial relationships and expand Arbor Financial’s presence with a primary focus on growing the commercial loan portfolio.
Lauraine says that his goal is to make things easy for commercial clients to do business with Arbor Financial and to help find solutions that allow companies to grow. “The greatest part of working in the commercial department at Arbor is the flexibility and willingness to work with clients of all sizes and industries,” explains Lauraine.

Outside of work, Mike spends time with his wife and three kids. He enjoys watching their sporting events and theatre performances along with downhill skiing and spending time relaxing at the lake during the summer months. Over the years, Mike has coached several youth sports and is currently coaching travel baseball and officiating high school football.
