Redwood Credit Union welcomes Mike Venegas as the new vice president and general manager of RCU Auto Services. Responsible for all aspects of operations for the auto dealership, in his new role, Venegas will develop, plan, organize, and manage the dealership operations.
Venegas has been in the automotive industry for almost 30 years, working with brands such as Mercedes Benz, Toyota, Volvo, and Audi. His certifications include Sonic Automotive—General Manager Leadership Academy, NCM Associates—General Manager Executive Program, and The United States Military Academy—Thayer Leader Development Group at West Point.
RCUAS was founded so the credit union could offer reliable cars at a fair price to its members and others in the community. Working from its lot at 3219 Santa Rosa Avenue, RCUAS expanded its mission during the pandemic to also deliver vehicles free of charge. Buyers can then finance through the credit union and obtain insurance through RCU Insurance Services, providing a single place to meet all of their auto-buying needs.
