Minnco Credit Union announces Doug Hallstrom as new President/CEO

ANDOVER, MN (April 8, 2016) — Minnco Credit Union’s Board of Directors has selected Doug Hallstrom to fill the position of President/CEO, effective March 28, 2016. Doug succeeds Steve Oien, who retired after 36 years of service at Minnco.

Doug has over 28 years of industry experience, most recently serving as Minnco’s Executive Vice President/COO. Doug has been instrumental in Minnco’s growth over the past two decades. He was also responsible for adding and enhancing a number of products and services that Minnco members enjoy.

The economy, new technologies and evolving consumer habits pose a constant challenge to all financial institutions. Hallstrom is excited for the opportunity to lead Minnco through this rapidly changing financial services environment.

Doug began his employment with Minnco in 1990. He is a long-time resident of Cambridge, MN, married with two grown daughters and actively involved in the community. He received his Bachelor of Art in Business Administration from Bethel University, St. Paul, Minnesota.
