Minnco Credit Union announces selection of new CEO

ANDOVER, MN (March 31, 2016) — Doug Hallstrom has been named as Minnco Credit Union’s new CEO effective Monday, March 28, 2016. The executive search was conducted by Credit Union Resources for the $230 million dollar credit union.

Previously the Executive Vice President/Chief Operations Officer at Minnco CU, Hallstrom was responsible for supervising 12 direct reports and 70 indirect reports at the credit union.  During his leadership at the credit union, he effectively managed core processor conversion and initiated and created a $23 million indirect lending program.

With over 25 years of management experience, Hallstrom will help Minnco CU continue to provide members with new products and services to meet the demands of today’s hectic lifestyles. Hallstrom will build upon a financially sound foundation and bring a new vision to the organization to promote long term growth.

Hallstrom received a Bachelor of Art in Business Administration from Bethel University located in St. Paul, Minnesota. Hallstrom is very active in the community and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Cambridge Business Development Company.
