Minnesota partnership expands mortgage service options for CUs
ST. PAUL, Minn. – Minnesota credit unions have the opportunity to strengthen their internal mortgage programs thanks to a newly-formed partnership between the Network Service Corporation and AmeriCU Mortgage. Building upon credit unions’ existing mortgage products and services, AmeriCU Mortgage enables Minnesota credit unions of all sizes to offer members affordable mortgage financing while maximizing income.
AmeriCU Mortgage’s unique service model allows credit unions to choose the level of support that works best for them and their members. With options ranging from correspondent services to complete outsourcing, credit unions can be involved in the mortgage financing process as much – or as little – as desired. In addition, AmeriCU Mortgage offers a dozen mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, homepath and reverse mortgages, allowing credit unions to provide members with an array of mortgage options.
Through its outsourcing option, AmeriCU Mortgage utilizes credit unions’ current resources to strengthen the mortgage program. Their staff works as part of the credit union’s team, operating as an employee and promoting currently-established mortgage products. By outsourcing with AmeriCU Mortgage, credit unions bring the mortgage expertise in-house and increase the prominence and reputation of credit union’s mortgage offerings.
Additionally, AmeriCU Mortgage lessens the burden on credit unions by offering white or private label servicing. These options are customized to complement credit unions’ financial offerings, parallel the services they provide, and strengthen the relationship between the credit union and its members.
“AmeriCU Mortgage’s expertise will be a great asset to our credit unions as they navigate the often complicated processes and procedures of real estate financing,” said Minnesota Credit Union Network Vice President – Network Service Corporation John Ferstl. “Their loan experts serve as valuable resources that help credit unions maximize the mortgage service to members while minimizing expenses.”
AmeriCU Mortgage is a family-owned, full-service real estate financing firm that specializes in working with credit unions to help members buy, build and improve homes and investment properties. The organization’s innovative loan programs, marketing and compliance support plays a vital role in helping credit unions maximize mortgage lending income and strengthen relationships.
The Minnesota Credit Union Network is an organization representing
the state’s 141 not-for-profit cooperative credit unions serving
more than 1.5 million member-owners in Minnesota.
