Mitch Nowak Hired as IT Manager at First Financial Federal Credit Union

Mitch Nowak brings years of information technology, banking, and management experience to First Financial Federal Credit Union. Prior to his employment at First Financial, he was an IT Consultant with MTC Maintenance and Management Company, a Senior Banking Officer in Information Systems at NJM Bank FSB, Vice President of IT at Aspire FCU, Systems Manager at Goody Products, and is the Owner of Nowak’s Computer Service.
Nowak will be responsible for helping plan and coordinate the day to day activities of the IT Department, overseeing the department’s staff activities, ensuring all internal data processing and procedures are followed, and that the staff is meeting daily, weekly, and monthly goals. Responsibilities include host systems maintenance (Datasafe USERS), and the administration of First Financial’s desktop, servers, and network.
Nowak holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing from Thomas Edison State College, an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Brookdale Community College, and an Electronics Technician Diploma from DeVry Institute. He served in the U.S. Army, where he was an SP-4 Quartermaster. Nowak is married to wife Lois, and they have four children – Stephen, Dawn, Michelle, and Tracy. He enjoys scuba diving, woodworking, home renovation, as well as computers and networks.
