Momentum welcomes new Chief Financial Officer
SEATTLE, WA (February 5, 2015) — Momentum, a national plan-design-build firm, announced that Jim Tarte, a seasoned financial executive, is officially joining the company’s senior management team as Chief Financial Officer. He has been working with Momentum as a financial consultant since 2013.
Tarte brings over 20 years of experience in public and private accounting practices. Before joining Momentum, he served as Chief Financial Officer for various companies in the real-estate and high technology market place, managing their financial and accounting activities during periods of high revenue growth.
“Jim’s broad financial background, operations experience and real estate finance expertise make him a terrific addition to Momentum’s team,” said Jim Haack, President of Momentum. “We are excited to bring Jim’s management and analytical capabilities to project teams and clients both directly and indirectly as Momentum grows.”
Tarte’s hire follows Momentum’s strong performance in 2014. The company is predicting another outstanding year as it approaches its 10th anniversary this spring.

Tarte specializes in corporate finance and operations that help companies thrive in a high-growth mode. At Momentum, he is working with the leadership team to build a solid financial foundation to pave the way for another successful year.
Tarte received his accounting degree from Seattle University and completed post-graduate courses in taxation at Golden Gate University. As a Washington native, he grew up in the San Juan Islands and enjoys the wondrous marine life surrounding the Puget Sound Region.
