GERMANTOWN, MD (March 27, 2014) -- Montgomery County Employees Federal Credit Union (MC EFCU), a Montgomery County, Md.-based full-service financial institution, announces that its Germantown branch is launching new Saturday lobby hours, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., beginning on April 5, 2014. To highlight the service change and to thank members for their business, MC EFCU will host a two-day “Member Appreciation Days” celebration at its Germantown branch on Fri., May 2 and Sat., May 3.
The new Saturday lobby hours at Germantown will enable members to access the credit union’s full range of services.
“Our new Saturday lobby hours at the Germantown branch will enable members to have access to our full range of services at a time when many of them will have more time available to not only handle their account transactions, but also to address their broader financial service needs, such as automobile loans, home equity lines, mortgages, or long-term savings strategies,” said Jim Norris, president and CEO of MC EFCU. “We’re also excited about our upcoming Member Appreciation Days at the Germantown branch and I know that our branch manager, Jowilene Musser, and her team are looking forward to welcoming many of our members into the branch for that celebration on May 2 and 3.”
MC EFCU’s “Member Appreciation Days” at the Germantown branch will be modeled closely after the recent successful event held at the credit union’s Rockville Branch, in February. Several of the credit union’s member benefits partners will be on-hand, including Enterprise, Liberty Mutual, Credit Union Mortgage Association (an on-site representative will be available on Friday, May 2), Identity Shield and Legal Shield.
