June 6, 2011 – Germantown, MD – Montgomery County Employees Federal Credit Union (MC EFCU) of Germantown, MD is teaming with Intuit Financial Services to offer consumers text message banking, mobile Web browser banking and an iPhone applicationenabling members to access their account balances, history, transfers and e-bill payments while on the go. In addition, MC EFCU is offering text message banking that provides members with the ability to securely check balances and transactions via a simple SMS text.
Through the use of focus groups and member surveys, MC EFCU identified its member’s strong desire to become untethered from the requirement to physically go to a branch to do their banking. With the implementation of the three mobile services, text message banking, mobile web banking and an iPhone application, MC EFCU islistening to its members and is reacting to meet their mobileneeds as quickly as possible.
