Mortgage Network sponsors bingo event at Soldiers’ Home in Chelsea
DANVERS, MA (August 7, 2017) — Employees of Mortgage Network Inc., one of the largest independent mortgage lenders in the eastern U.S., recently sponsored a bingo event at Soldiers’ Home in Chelsea, a long-term skilled nursing facility and residence for military veterans.
Six Mortgage Network employees played bingo and handed out meals, hats and cash prizes during the event, which was held to support the state-run health care facility. It was the second time Mortgage Network sponsored the event.
The Soldiers’ Home is a state-run health care facility that provides veterans with quality care, full-time living accommodations and out-patient services. It has been in continuous operation since 1882.
“Supporting our veterans is one of our core values because of the enormous sacrifices they have made for our country,” said Robert McInnes, CEO of Mortgage Network. “It was an honor to give something back.”
“It’s always great to connect with veterans,” says Elisa Balboni, a senior loan officer in Mortgage Network’s Boston branch office. “We had a lot of fun at this event and look forward to coming back soon.”
