Branch Manager Dean Gilbert obtains military certification to better serve military personnel
DANVERS, MA (November 9, 2017) — Mortgage Network, Inc., one of the largest independent mortgage lenders, announces that its Freeport, Maine branch is offering a $500 discount* on closing costs to Veterans and members of the military in the month of November to celebrate Veteran’s Day on November 11. Other Mortgage Network branches may be offering the same discount. Discounts apply for mortgage applications made in November only.

Dean Gilbert, branch manager of the Freeport, Maine branch, recently became a Certified Military Housing Specialist to ensure he was well equipped to understand the unique needs of veterans. Gilbert received the designation after passing a military course offered by Boots Across America.

The VA home loan program is a great option for veterans, as it allows 100 percent financing and is also in many cases assumable, which means that an outstanding VA loan and its terms can be transferred from the current owner to a buyer.
