Canvas Credit Union board member, Scott Aaronson goes above and beyond in his commitment to the credit union movement
DENVER, CO (May 21, 2021) — Scott Aaronson, longtime board member of Canvas Credit Union, was honored as Volunteer of the Year at the 2021 Mountain West Credit Union Association’s Annual Meeting and Convention in early May. At the awards banquet, Scott was recognized for his dedication to service as an avid supporter and advocate for the credit union movement.
As Todd Marksberry, CEO & President at Canvas Credit Union, presented Scott with this notable recognition he shared, “Scott’s dedication to service goes way back to 1985. Since then, he has generously given his time – lending his experiences and expertise on every volunteer board committee he’s served. Whether it be volunteering for the Parks & Wildlife division for the State of Colorado or his passion to take the credit union movement to new heights, Scott has made an invaluable impact in the Canvas community and beyond as he lives and breathes the philosophy of ‘people helping people’.”
