MSGCU awards Rudolph Heino scholarships to local high school seniors

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI (May 15, 2014) -- Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU) is pleased to announce the winners of its Rudolph Heino High School Scholarship to five local high schools seniors. This $2,500 scholarship is awarded to members based on academic performance, community involvement and embodiment of the credit union philosophy of “people helping people.”

“All of the students who applied for the scholarship are exceptional students,” said MSGCU President and CEO Peter Gates. “The five winners who were chosen are a truly extraordinary group and it is our honor to award these future leaders with the Rudolph Heino High School Scholarship.”

The recipients of the Rudolph Heino Scholarship are:

Jacob DeSantis (Clinton Township): De La Salle High School

Carter Kovalcik (Warren): University of Detroit Jesuit High School
