MSGCU celebrates grand reopenings of Clinton Township and Troy locations

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI (May 28, 2015) — Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU) celebrated Grand Reopenings of their Troy and Main Offices with members and their communities within the past week, following extensive renovations of both buildings.

“These renovations were the first major changes made to these buildings since the 1980s,” said Peter Gates, MSGCU President and CEO. “Members can now enjoy a more efficient layout and modern design, as well as state-of-the art technology to make their experience better than ever.”

The celebrations included a lunchtime open house, with a free food truck lunch from Ned’s Travelburger and Franks Etc., lawn games, and a raffle for a Weber Genesis grill.  Hundreds of members and friends attended the lunchtime celebrations. These festivities were followed by formal ribbon-cutting events with local dignitaries, members of the renovation team and MSGCU staff and board members.

“In addition to serving our members more effectively, the renovated spaces provide efficient workspace for a number of employees,” said Gates. “We are proud to be supporters and employers within both of these thriving communities.”

The renovated offices are located at 40400 Garfield Road, Clinton Township and 4555 Investment Drive, Troy
