Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union gives back to first responders

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI (May 2, 2016) — In January, Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham and the K-9 Unit visited the MSGCU Main Office in Clinton Township and accepted a donation for their unit. Staff was able to meet the hard-working police dogs that help keep our community safe.

“We wanted to work with a First Responder service and an animal organization, so we decided to combine both ideas,” said Branch Manager Darius Mikalonis. “In meeting with Officer Duranni of the K-9 Unit and learning how valuable these dogs are with the protection of our community, I knew we made the right choice.”

The Main Office team will continue to work with the K-9 Unit throughout the year.
