MSGCU hosts groundbreaking for new branch in commerce township
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI (April 12, 2019) — Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU) welcomed several Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce members, Charter Township of Commerce officials, and community leaders to its groundbreaking ceremony and meet-and-greet yesterday in Commerce Township. The event signifies that MSGCU is adding a 15th branch to its growing network. The new branch office will be located at 3230 N. Pontiac Trail (northeast corner of N. Pontiac Trail and Walnut Lake Rd.). This will be MSGCU’s fifth branch in Oakland County and its first in Commerce Township.
The credit union was warmly welcomed to the neighborhood by Commerce Township dignitaries who committed their support and partnership with the MSGCU family.
MSGCU Chief Financial Officer, Steve Brewer, expressed his excitement about becoming a part of the community while continuing to provide outstanding value in financial services for members.

The Commerce Township branch offers an excellent location with high visibility and will provide added convenience for new and current members within the area. In fact, anyone living or working in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula is eligible to become a member of MSGCU.
Construction of the new office will begin this spring. An official grand opening will be announced at a later date.
