For a third year, MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) is showing its support for student-athletes by entering name, image, and likeness agreements with all eligible players on the Michigan State University women’s basketball team for the 2023-2024 season.
The eligible players include: Julia Ayrault, graduate student guard; Kennedy Blair, freshman guard; Gabby Elliott, senior guard; DeeDee Hagemann, junior guard; Theryn Hallock, sophomore guard; Moira Joiner, graduate student guard; Abbey Kimball, sophomore guard; Mary Meng, freshman center; Tory Ozment, graduate student forward; Bree Robinson, freshman guard; Lauren Ross, graduate student guard; and Jocelyn Tate, junior guard. MSUFCU is also partnering with former MSU women’s basketball athlete Lauren Walker.
MSUFCU views these partnerships as an opportunity to empower women athletes and to recognize the value they bring to the university and the community. As part of their contracts, the student-athletes will support the ongoing efforts of the Credit Union throughout the year.
“Supporting these women student-athletes aligns with several of MSUFCU’s core values and initiatives — in particular, building a positive environment; encouraging, embracing, and driving change; and pursuing growth and development,” said April Clobes, MSUFCU President & CEO. “We want to be able to encourage their visions to dreamBIG as they help us share the story of the Credit Union.”
In addition to the NIL partnerships, MSUFCU has been a sponsor of MSU athletics for more than 14 years and became the presenting sponsor of MSU women’s basketball in 2019 as part of a multiyear athletics sponsorship agreement.
A special kickoff event will be held next month; stay tuned for more details. Follow MSUFCU on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to stay up-to-date on its NIL partnerships and support of these student-athletes.
