Municipal Credit Union cuts ribbon on new St. Albans branch
Third branch in queens features key high-tech banking tools
NEW YORK, NY (December 13, 2017) — Municipal Credit Union (MCU) has expanded its footprint in Queens, cutting the ribbon on its new St. Albans branch on Tuesday, December 12. The branch is MCU’s third branch in Queens and 18th overall.
State Senator Leroy Comrie and NYS DFS Deputy Superintendent for Community and Regional Banks Yolanda Ford joined MCU President/CEO Kam Wong, MCU Board Chair James Durrah, and members of MCU’s Board of Directors in cutting the ribbon on the new branch located at 188-39 Linden Blvd. The 4,000-square foot branch features many high-tech banking tools including an interactive e-banking center, touch screen displays, and Instant Deposit ATMs. The branch is also staffed with teller stations and Member Service Representatives for personal banking assistance.
“We are so proud to cut the ribbon on our St. Albans branch today and pleased to expand our footprint in Queens, where many of our members live and work,” said MCU President/CEO Kam Wong. “Our members deserve convenient and efficient in-branch banking, and this new branch delivers both. We know everyone will appreciate the advanced technology banking options featured in this branch, as well as the convenience of having an MCU branch in their neighborhood.”

The St. Albans branch is MCU’s third branch in Queens, joining its branches in Springfield Gardens and Rego Park. It is the 18th branch in MCU’s network of branches throughout the five boroughs, Yonkers, and Long Island. The St. Albans branch is open six days a week; its hours are: Monday and Thursday from 9am – 6pm; Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am-5pm, and Saturday from 9am – 2pm.
