Awards and scholarship winners announced during annual myCUmortgage Partner Conference

BEAVERCREEK, OH (November 10, 2015) — myCUmortgage® announced the winners of its Awards for Excellence in Mortgage Lending during the 11th Annual myCUmortgage Partner Conference, held Nov. 3-5, 2015. myCUmortgage is a leading Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) and is wholly-owned by Wright- Patt Credit Union.

In addition to these awards, Metro Community Federal Credit Union in Huntington, W.V., was awarded the 2015 Susan Edwards Scholarship. Since 2009, this scholarship has been presented to a credit union that goes above and beyond expectations to ensure its members have the opportunity to attain affordable financing and homeownership. This award, which funds conference attendance for one of the credit union’s representatives, is named for Susan Edwards, myCUmortgage’s first loan coordinator and eventual operations manager, who passed away due to cancer in 2009.

“We are honored to present Metro Community Federal Credit Union with this scholarship. Their unselfish dedication to assisting members captures the true essence of this award,” said Mislansky.

Nearly 100 credit union mortgage professionals from 10 states attended the 2015 myCUmortgage Partner Conference. The conference, which was themed, “Own Your Success: Unlocking Your Entrepreneurial Potential,” provided attending credit union representatives with the latest news and trends in the mortgage industry as well as the opportunity to exchange information with fellow credit union mortgage representatives and network with industry leaders.
