NAFCU Announces 2013-2014 Executive Committee/Board of Directors

BOSTON, MA (July 9, 2013) — The National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) announced the newly elected and continuing members for its 2013-2014 Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Their terms begin at the conclusion of NAFCU’s annual business meeting in Boston today.

“NAFCU is well-positioned for the future and has a great reputation within the industry and with policymakers in Washington, D.C.” said Mike Parsons, NAFCU Chair. “I look forward to working with the NAFCU officers and board members in continuing to meet the challenges facing our members and to champion the interests of credit unions.”

The newly elected NAFCU board members are Jan N. Roche, president and CEO, State Department Federal Credit Union, Alexandria, Va., elected to a three-year term; and Daniel Weickenand, CEO, Orion Federal Credit Union, Memphis, Tenn., elected to a one-year term.

NAFCU officers and board members for 2013-2014 are:

  • Michael J. Parsons, Chair– president and CEO, First Source Federal Credit Union, New Hartford, N.Y.;
  • Ed Templeton, Vice Chair –president and CEO, SRP Federal Credit Union, North Augusta, S.C;
  • Richard L. Harris, Treasurer– president and CEO, Caltech Employees Federal Credit Union, La Canada, Calif;
  • Jeanne Kucey, Secretary– president and CEO, JetStream Federal Credit Union, Miami Lakes, Fla.;
  • Martin M. Breland– president and CEO, Tower Federal Credit Union, Laurel, Md.;
  • Cutler Dawson– president and CEO, Navy Federal Credit Union, Merrifield, Va.;
  • Michael N. Lussier– president and CEO, Webster First Federal Credit Union, Worcester, Mass.;
  • Jan N. Roche–president and CEO, State Department Federal Credit Union, Alexandria, Va.;
  • Debra Schwartz– president and CEO, Mission Federal Credit Union, San Diego, Calif.;
  • Rod Taylor– president and CEO, Barksdale Federal Credit Union, Bossier City, La.; and
