The National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) will hold its inaugural BSA Seminar from Oct. 24-28 at the InterContinental New Orleans in New Orleans.
“We are proud to introduce this innovative seminar to help credit union professionals stay on top of the latest Bank Secrecy Act information and requirements,” said NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger. “The BSA Seminar will be invaluable in creating much-needed awareness of the constantly evolving money laundering threats to credit unions.”
This essential training is designed for BSA, audit, anti-money laundering and risk professionals who will learn crucial knowledge and skills needed to stay one step ahead of money laundering scams and compliance demands. The BSA Seminar will run parallel to NAFCU’s Regulatory Compliance Seminar.
While attending the BSA Seminar, attendees will:
- get tips and tools to master AML responsibilities;
- learn about BSA trends and best practices; and
- have the opportunity to earn the NAFCU Certified Bank Secrecy Officer (NCBSO) designation upon taking the exam
The BSA Seminar is open to all credit union professionals with special pricing available for NAFCU members. Due to limited seating, early registration is encouraged.
For those new to BSA, there will be a pre-conference workshop to build attendees’ foundational knowledge prior to the deep-dive of the seminar’s content throughout the week.
