NAFCU’s 2016 credit union compliance GPS is available now
WASHINGTON, DC (March 29, 2016) — The National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) 2016 Credit Union Compliance GPS is available now to credit union industry professionals. Written by NAFCU’s highly regarded regulatory compliance team, this updated electronic manual is a must-have resource for those looking to master their understanding of the regulations, laws and guidance affecting the credit union industry.
“With more than 600 pages, the GPS clarifies complex regulatory language in plain English. It covers a broad spectrum of issues, from the basic anatomy of a federal credit union to specific regulations from the NCUA, the CFPB and other important regulatory bodies,” said Brandy Bruyere, NAFCU’s director of regulatory compliance. “The GPS is an exceptional value and resource; one manual can serve the needs of the entire organization at no extra cost.”
The 2016 GPS has more than 40 new pages. Highlights of the 2016 edition include:
- updates on the Military Lending Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the new rules issued recently under the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act;
- study tips following each section for those studying to take the NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO) exams.
