Nassau Financial opens 5th branch with onsite banking services at Nassau University Medical Center

Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union is returning to its roots to serve over 3,000 members who also happen to work for Nassau University Medical Center and other NuHealth System locations. The new branch is located on the first floor of the Nassau University Medical Center to serve hospital staff, patients, visitors and the public. This location is familiar to Nassau Financial, having merged with Nassau University Medical Center Credit Union in 2001 and continuing to serve its members for the past 16 years.

“Our long history of serving the employees of Nu Health System uniquely positions Nassau Financial to extend this relationship with on-site financial services,” said John T. DeCelle, President and CEO of Nassau Financial. “We see this relationship with NuHealth System as far more than a landlord/tenant affiliation, but one that we will partner on community endeavors and events as well,” said DeCelle. Nassau Financial firmly believes that corporate volunteerism and philanthropy is not done to simply build brand, but to create positive ripples in the community helping people in need, raising awareness about specific problems or issues, and making our neighborhoods better places. Nassau Financial’s newest branch at NUMC has new technology including two Interactive Teller Machines and digital signs, as well as personal service representatives, extended hours and special account opening offers for NuHealth System employees and visitors.

“We are pleased to welcome Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union into our hospital, as they open their doors to service the fantastic employees of our hospital and the greater East Meadow community,” said Victor Politi, M.D., President and Chief Executive Officer of Nassau University Medical Center. “The hospital is utilized by tens-of-thousands of Nassau County residents yearly, for a number of services and resources. This credit union can, and will, provide them with an additional resource, aiding their financial needs and much more. I congratulate the Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union on their grand opening of their new branch. I am certain that they will continue an historic tradition of success to benefit the Nassau University Medical Center community at-large,” said Politi.
