Parraway to provide financial and strategic leadership to the coundation

MADISON, WI (February 2, 2021)

The National Credit Union Foundation (the Foundation) has announced the addition of André T. Parraway, CPA as the new Chief Financial and Operations Officer effective February 1, 2021.

“We are excited to welcome André to the Foundation team,” said Gigi Hyland, Executive Director at the Foundation. “His proven experience in executive leadership, strategic financial analysis and the non-profit sector will bring great value to the Foundation as we diligently steward our donors’ generous support to achieve our mission to improve people’s financial lives.”

As CFOO, Parraway will provide strategic financial leadership and direction to ensure the Foundation’s long–term financial well-being and growth. Parraway will guide and direct all aspects of the Foundation’s financial and day-to-day operations and strategies in conjunction with the Executive Director and Board of Directors, bringing financial and business expertise to strengthen all aspects of the Foundation’s operations and financial performance.

Parraway joins the Foundation with almost 30 years of experience serving non-profits and trade associations. Most recently, Parraway served 15 years as the Chief Financial and Chief Operating Officer for the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners, a 501©(4) trade association, where he oversaw the Accounting, Grants Management, Office Management, Information Technology and Human Resource functions. He served concurrently in the same capacity for the National Regulatory Research Institute, a 501©(3) affiliate.

Prior to that, he served 7 years as Corporate Controller for the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs and 5 years as Controller for the Vietnam Veterans of America Incorporated. A graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Accounting, Mr. Parraway is also a licensed certified public accountant in the state of Maryland.
