Naveo Credit Union remembers the life of dedicated board member, John C. Feitor
SOMERVILLE, MA (April 7, 2021) —
Naveo Credit Union is remembering the life of their dedicated board member, John C. Feitor.
Mr. John C Feitor served on Naveo’s volunteer Board of Directors for over 38 years, serving as Chair of the Credit Committee and 2nd Vice Chair. He also spent six years of his Board tenure as Chairperson.
Mr. Feitor was a prominent member of the local community, with many ties to Portuguese organizations, including the Filarmonica de Santo Antonio and Saint Anthony’s Parish in Cambridge. In 2015, he was awarded the Credit Union Heroes award by Banker and Tradesman for being a respected industry professional who made a significant impact on those around him, making outstanding contributions to Naveo, having a positive influence on his peers and for consistently giving back to the community. Hard work and volunteerism were hallmarks of Mr. Feitor’s life.
Mr. Feitor was a strong supporter of the credit union movement and proud to be a Naveo member. The Naveo family and local community will truly miss his cheery smile and colorful stories. His many years of service and contributions are greatly appreciated.

His loyalty is seen throughout the various organizations within our community of which he participated in. We were proud to have him on our board as a director and as a friend.
