This anti-microbial coating makes it difficult for microbes (virus, bacteria) to live on coated surfaces, limiting the possibility of transmission through touch. This coating has been tested to ensure compatibility with a device’s parts, screens and functionality.
An executive from Rockville, Md.-based NIH Federal Credit Union explained, “The health and safety of our members is our highest priority. It was an easy decision to apply this treatment and go above and beyond the standard protocols for the peace-of-mind of our members. The experience was very simple, and NCR was able to visit our fleet of ATMs/ITMs, apply the Anti-Microbial Coating and decals, and as a result, member usage of our ATMs/ITMs has once again increased.”
NCR’s trained Customer Engineers treat equipment by applying the coating to in-situ hardware, including touchscreens, keypads, handsets, card reader entry points, cash and receipt slots, front facias and privacy shields.
