WILLISTON, VT (May 7, 2024) — New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) is announcing a new scholarship program that will award five (5) $5,000 scholarships in support of members who have shown scholastic excellence and interest in advancing their education to achieve a stronger and sustainable financial future.
Applications for the scholarship program are currently open to all members in good standing of NEFCU, Direct Financial, and VSECU (a division of NEFCU). Applicants can complete their application, including an original 500 words or more on how they plan to use their education to help build a strong and sustainable financial future, at https://www.nefcu.com/scholarship-program.html.
Applications must be submitted by May 31, 2024. Scholarship winners will be notified by July 15, 2024.
Applicant must be applying to or currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program at a college, trade school, or university with a minimum of six credits per semester (or the equivalent). Scholarships will be paid jointly to the recipient and to the accredited school of choice.
