NEFCU opens third “tech-centric” branch in past year
Levittown opening Marks Credit Union’s 15th L.I. Branch, and third new digitally-driven location
WESTBURY, NY (September 12, 2017) — With today’s opening of its Levittown branch, the Long Island credit union NEFCU continues to roll out new branches that are marked by the latest banking technology and digital solutions. This location is the third “digitally-driven” branch NEFCU has opened in the past year.
NEFCU’s 15th branch represents the credit union’s continuing plan of opening smaller-sized, digitally enhanced branches in more Long Island communities. Its first tech-centric branch opened last September in Bay Shore, and it followed suit with a similar branch in Deer Park last month.
“Our strategy of combining technology solutions with in-branch personalized service is bearing fruit in Bay Shore, Deer Park, and starting today, in Levittown,” said Eileen Nolan, executive vice president, chief marketing and sales officer at NEFCU. “Utilizing the latest technology to connect our staff with our members has created a friendlier and more efficient in-branch banking experience. It’s a concept that our members continue to embrace.”
The new Levittown branch features two Interactive Teller Machines that allow members to conduct their transactions with live on-screen tellers who are centrally located in the credit union’s office on Long Island, as well as two 24/7 ATMs. The branch also boasts a digital solution center that utilizes an oversized touch-screen monitor to enable members to immediately download digital product brochures, obtain the latest rates, and access information about the credit union’s products and services at the touch of a finger.
During banking hours, an experienced staff – a branch manager, a branch supervisor, and several member-service representatives – are available to assist with any banking questions.
The new 2,000-square-foot branch is located at 3359 Hempstead Turnpike in the Levittown Mews Shopping Center.
The Levittown branch hours will be M-Th: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.; and Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
