Neighbors Credit Union hosts multiple credit report seminars

ST. LOUIS, MO (September 16, 2016) — Neighbors Credit Union hosted three free Credit Report Seminars on August 23, 30 and 31, 2016.

Tracy Lindhorst, Assistant Vice President of Lending from Neighbors Credit Union conducted all three educational seminars. The seminars explained what a credit report and credit score is and how to systematically read them. Attendees learned where consumer-reporting agencies get their information and what factors are used to calculate their score.

Each registered guest received free educational materials and a copy of their own credit report and credit score to follow along with during the presentation. After each seminar, members were able to discuss their credit reports with a Neighbors’ specialist and have their personal questions answered.  Two lucky winners at each seminar walked away with gift cards as prizes. Each seminar was proven to be a success with a combined turnout of approximately 100 attendees.
