New beginnings: LSC names new President

NAPERVILLE, IL (November 8, 2018) — ICUL Service Corporation (LSC), the CUSO of the Illinois Credit Union System (ICUS), is pleased to announce the appointment of Libby Calderone as the new President of LSC. Ms. Calderone will assume the role of President at LSC, reporting to LSC CEO Tom Kane. She comes to LSC from her position as CEO/President of Earthmover Credit Union (ECU) in Oswego, Illinois, where she has proven herself to be a strong and dynamic leader. Libby has contributed her keen business sense and insights to ECU since 1987, making it one of the best managed credit unions in the country.

Tom Kane, President/CEO of the ICUS expressed his enthusiasm about the appointment, saying “I’ve had the good fortune to know and work with Libby as an LSC partner and Director for a number of years and I’m excited to have her lead LSC.  Libby will be a great addition to our executive team as we work to expand our services for the benefit of credit unions.”

As a long-time customer and member of the LSC Board of Directors since 2009, Ms. Calderone is already familiar with the organization’s current operations and strategic objectives.  Her proven business skills, industry experience, and commitment to excellence are ideal for her new role as she directs LSC in its mission of helping credit unions compete.

Ms. Calderone is eager to step into her new role, stating “I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the LSC team in providing quality products and services to credit unions. My years as a member of the LSC Board of Directors and LSC partner have given me enormous trust in the organization. They always look out for the best interest of their credit union clients and I look forward to being a champion for the excellent work they do.”

Ms. Calderone will begin her new role as LSC President at the end of 2018.
