New CFO appointment announced by San Diego County Credit Union

San Diego County Credit Union (SDCCU), San Diego’s largest locally-owned financial institution, has named Judy Flores as its new Chief Financial Officer. Judy brings 28 years of credit union experience with her to SDCCU. The announcement was made by SDCCU President and CEO Teresa Halleck.

Previously, Flores served as the President/CEO of Heritage Community Credit Union in Sacramento, Calif.and of McDonnell Douglas West FCU in Huntington Beach, CA, in addition to numerous prior leadership and management roles at The Golden 1 and SAFE credit unions. Flores has been active in the credit union industry, whereshe was a founding member and officer of the Credit Union National Association CFO Council. She has also been involved with the California Credit Union League as a member of the Government Relations, Fiscal Affairs and Audit Committees. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University in Sacramento.
