New FMS forward magazine offers tailored insight to community bank & credit union financial professionals

New Bi-monthly magazine features exclusive with FDIC Chairman, Martin Gruenberg; explores the dark web

CHICAGO, IL (August 31, 2017) — The Financial Managers Society (FMS) today announced the release of the second issue of FMS forward magazine, the new flagship publication of FMS. Launched in June 2017 featuring an exclusive interview with FDIC Chairman, Martin Gruenbergforward offers community bank and credit union financial professionals informative content from the leading voices in the industry with in-depth articles on relevant trends, solutions to common challenges, as well as discussion of emerging ideas.

“What sets forward apart from other industry publications is the content. Evolving regulatory mandates, cybersecurity concerns, communicating with your board; these are all topics affecting the banking industry at large,” explained Danielle Holland, FMS President and CEO. “Because of their size, smaller institutions often tackle these challenges very differently. FMS forwardprovides our members with solutions tailored to them. It’s something they didn’t have access to before: comprehensive and timely content targeted specifically to their finance and accounting roles at community banks and credit unions.”
