New Jersey League and Pennsylvania, MD|DC Associations to collaborate on CU Reality Check Conference

CHARLOTTE, NC (September 26, 2016) — Starting in 2017, the New Jersey Credit Union League, Pennsylvania Credit Union Association, and the MD|DC Credit Union Association will work together to manage and host the popular CU Reality Check Conference, scheduled for March 20-22, 2017 at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, NJ. CU Reality Check is focused on the most pressing issues facing credit unions today, with valuable and relevant content that enhances growth and productivity. More information on the conference is available at www.curealitycheck.com.

Through the partnership, primary management of the event will rotate among the leagues each year, with a host location in their respective states. In 2016, the conference drew nearly 200 attendees, and has increased every year since inception.

“CU Reality Check has really outgrown New Jersey,” said David Frankil, President & CEO of the New Jersey Credit Union League. “The content draws attendees from across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, and even across the country. It makes sense to evolve the conference into a regional event.”

“There are a few credit union conferences across the country that just shine in terms of their message and relevance,” said John Bratsakis, President & CEO of the MD|DC Credit Union Association. “CU Reality Check is one of them.”

“We are delighted to be able to join with our neighbors and colleagues on CU Reality Check,” added Patrick Conway, President & CEO of the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association. “Every year we have more and more Pennsylvania credit unions in attendance, and are looking forward to helping shape the agenda, speakers, and content going forward.”
