New Managing Director Brings Wealth of Financial Services Market Research Experience
Boston, MA, February 23, 2012 – ath Power Consulting, a leading financial services research and strategy firm, today announced that Michael J. McEvoy, formerly of Novantas, has joined the company’s executive team as Managing Director. Mr. McEvoy will oversee the firm’s strategic research and consulting programs, leveraging his skills and industry knowledge to help clients with their most pressing business issues and customer experience market strategies. He will also work in developing and executing growth strategies for ath Power, expanding the firm’s syndicated research division and directing the organization’s global efforts.

Mr. McEvoy has over 15 years experience consulting to many of the largest financial institutions and their technology suppliers worldwide, including MasterCard, Bank of America, Barclays Bank, Bank of Montreal, Sumitomo Bank, IBM and FICO. He is a distinguished researcher and advisor in the financial services and business strategy fields, authoring over 100 analyst reports and numerous published articles in leading industry journals.

Prior to ath Power, Mr. McEvoy served as Principal and Head of Banking Research for Novarica, a division of Novantas. He also spent six years consulting to MasterCard and its member banks, and was a founding analyst at TowerGroup and MasterCard’s Purchase Street Research. He holds a Bachelors degree in mathematics and economics and a Master of Economic Science degree from University College, Cork, Ireland and an MBA from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.
