HARAHAN, LA (January 23, 2019) — The New Orleans Pelicans and ASI Federal Credit Union (ASI FCU) announced today their partnership set to begin for the remaining 2018-2019 season and beyond. As the “Official and Exclusive Credit Union of the New Orleans Pelicans”, ASI Federal Credit Union (ASI FCU) is aligning with the franchise in efforts to increase financial education and services to the community.

As part of the multi-year partnership, ASI FCU will be the Official Sponsor of the Young Banker’s Program a program that will introduce middle and high school students at several schools to the foundation of financial stability and include budgeting, and an introduction to credit, loans, and planning for the future. The first schools to participate in the Young Banker’s Program will be:
• Patrick F. Taylor Science and Technology Academy
• Jefferson Rise Charter School
• Warren Easton High School
• Slidell High School, and
• Covington High School
