HARRISBURG, PA (November 22, 2017) — PSECU, Pennsylvania’s largest credit union, recently welcomed Wyatt Troxell as its State College Regional Director. In the newly created position, Troxell will oversee PSECU’s strategic efforts in Central Pennsylvania by expanding business relationships and developing strategies for membership growth and retention throughout Blair, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Huntington, and Mifflin counties.
“With his keen understanding of the Central Pennsylvania business environment, Wyatt Troxell will be a great asset to PSECU’s efforts to serve as our members’ trusted financial partner in the region and beyond,” said Barb Bowker, PSECU Vice President of Marketing and Membership Development. “We welcome Wyatt to the PSECU team and look forward to working with him as he reinforces our presence in the region and forges new, strengthened relationships with businesses, organizations, schools, and the greater Central Pennsylvania community.”
Based in PSECU’s State College office, Troxell brings significant experience to the Regional Director position, most recently serving in a retail branch management and business lending role with West Milton State Bank, and before that as Assistant Vice President of the Lewisburg Market for Service 1st Federal Credit Union. In these positions, he was responsible for using extensive knowledge of banking products and services to expand business membership and foster the growth of financial education efforts, which included the establishment of mutually beneficial partnerships with institutions of higher education. Previously, he also worked for several years as a Branch Manager for Sovereign Bank (now Santander) and as a Customer Solutions Manager/Store Services Manager for Best Buy.
“I am excited to expand the great work that PSECU has started in the State College region, which centers on the ‘people helping people’ credit union philosophy,” Troxell said.
Active in the community, Troxell is the current President of Leadership Susquehanna Valley and a member of the Lewisburg Sunrise Rotary. Additionally, he served as a school board member for Meadowbrook Christian School from 2012-2015.
Troxell is an alumnus of Lock Haven University.
