New Trainer’s Portal from CUNA Helps Credit Unions Create Their Own Training Programs

CUNA has introduced a new Credit Union Trainer’s Portal that provides content elements trainers can use to build customized learning experiences. The Trainer’s Portal offers interactive quizzes and activities, printable worksheets, and audio and video segments that can be downloaded and incorporated into training programs and presentations.
Trainers can integrate the learning elements of their choice into online courses, incorporate them in PowerPoint presentations, or use them as stand-alone training tools. All learning elements can be downloaded in the user’s choice of formats, including Microsoft Word, PDF, SWF (“Flash”) and FLV files.
Topics include compliance, financial counseling, human resources, training, lending, management training, sales and service, security, technology, serving Spanish-speaking customers and more.
“The Credit Union Trainer’s Portal makes it easy and cost-effective for trainers to exercise their creativity and build learning experiences that are completely customized to their needs,” said Marlo Foltz, Director of Blended Learning at CUNA. “Many credit unions don’t have the budget or in-house expertise to do their own Flash programming for e-learning. The Trainer’s Portal fills the need for solid content in ready-to-use formats for both online and face-to-face training applications. Trainers have the flexibility to incorporate these learning elements in whatever manner they deem most effective.”
The learning elements have been developed by the same e-learning team that creates CPDOnline, CUNA’s comprehensive online training service. The Trainer’s Portal will be refreshed regularly with new and updated content.
For a limited time, CUNA is offering an introductory subscription price of $499 (a $750 value) for one year of unlimited access to the Credit Union Trainer’s Portal. CPDOnline Unlimited member credit unions receive the Credit Union Trainer’s Portal as part of their membership.
