New York Credit Unions partner in effort to restock Hudson Valley VA Hospital Food Pantry for holiday season
Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (MHV), Bridgeway Federal Credit Union, Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, Ulster Federal Credit Union and TEG Federal Credit Union banned together this Fall with the goal of feeding our local veterans. Collectively, the local credit unions received over $4,000 worth of non-perishable food items from the community to benefit the food pantry at the Castle Point Veteran Hospital (VA).
The ‘Feed Our Vets’ food drive is part of the Catskill/Hudson Chapter of the New York Credit Union Association’s annual community outreach initiative. Demonstrating the credit union difference, each credit union worked together to hold a food drive at all of their branch locations during the month of October. Representatives from each of the four participating credit unions, delivered the donated food items to Castle Point Veteran Hospital (VA).
