Newest Consumers Credit Union office and retail space taking shape in Oakwood neighborhood
KALAMAZOO, MI (January 21, 2022) — Consumers Credit Union is thrilled to announce that construction of its Woods Lake office and retail space will begin later this month in Kalamazoo at the corner of Parkview Ave. and Oakland Dr.
The new location will feature two buildings: a 7,355-sq. ft. retail building and a two-story, 4,391-sq. ft. Consumers office, which will occupy approximately 2/3 of the main floor.
The office is expected to open early next year with Consumers’ TellerPlus+ technology in the lobby and drive-thru lanes. The office will also include a free coffee bar, banking stations with Wi-Fi and loan and member service areas.
The Woods Lake office will feature a wide-range of Consumers’ services, including new accounts, loans, credit cards, mortgages, investment services, business services and more.
Partners on the project include contractor AVB and building designers Bosch Architecture.

Consumers is currently celebrating its 70th year since their establishment in 1951.
