Long Beach, CA (January 7, 2026) |
The National Association of Latino Credit Unions and Professionals (NLCUP) is pleased to announce Mara Hoogerhuis, Subject Matter Expert in Learning, Leadership, and Change at Gallup, as a keynote speaker for the NLCUP 2026 Conference.
Hoogerhuis will take the keynote stage with Gallup Insights, sharing new findings on economic confidence, trust in institutions, and overall well-being, and how those forces are shaping member expectations. Grounded in Gallup’s latest research, the session will examine what credit union members are most concerned about, what they say they need right now, and where credit unions are uniquely positioned to respond with impact.
“Our communities have long understood the importance of trust, connection, and shared responsibility,” said Barbara Mojica, Executive Director of NLCUP. “Gallup’s data gives credit union leaders a clearer vision of how those values show up today and how they can be strengthened to support financial well-being across generations.”
Participants will leave with actionable insights, relevant data, and a stronger understanding of how to deepen trust, strengthen member relationships, and advance financial well being in ways that are measurable, practical, and grounded in real-world experience.
NLCUP welcomes credit union professionals, partners, and community advocates to join us in Long Beach for the NLCUP 2026 Conference. Full conference and single-day registration options are available at tinyurl.com/NLCUP2026Conference.
