Northwest Credit Union Association recognizes Providence Federal Credit Union Director of Accounting as Young Credit Union Professional

PORTLAND, OR (February 6, 2019)Providence Federal Credit Union (Providence FCU) announced today its Director of Accounting was named 2018’s Young Credit Union Professional (YCUP) by the Northwest Credit Union Association (NWCUA) during the association’s MAXX 2018 Awards Gala. Each year the NWCUA awards several members of the credit union community for their contributions toward member advocacy, community service, innovation in financial service, and leadership.

“We are so proud of Tiffany and not too surprised that the NWCUA recognized the immense talent and passion she brings to Providence FCU members and the credit union community,” said Providence FCU President & CEO Shirley Cate. “We can’t wait to see where Tiffany goes with her career as she continues to grow and inspire.”

Tiffany Pillars has served Providence FCU members for more than six years. A pivotal consideration in awarding her the YCUP was her dedication to increasing awareness and involvement with the NWCUA Mt. Hood chapter.

“I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and I’m so thankful to work in a field as supportive as the credit union community,” said Tiffany Pillars, Director of Accounting, Providence FCU. “As a young professional the greatest thing you can ask for is people who believe in you and who see things in you sometimes you can’t see in yourself.”
